How to Create an Axie Infinity Account (Step-by-Step)

Here are all the steps on setting up your Axie Infinity from start to finish.

1. Install MetaMask

MetaMask is an Ethereum wallet and it is your gateway to the Ethereum blockchain which is where Axie Infinity runs.

Just go to https://metamask.io to install the MetaMask app.

For desktop users, MetaMask is a browser extension. For mobile users, you can install it as an app.

Make sure to only download from the official source and not from other sketchy third-party websites!

2. Create a MetaMask wallet

Once you’ve installed the MetaMask software on your device, you should then create your own MetaMask wallet. This is where you will store your crypto and use it later to purchase in-game resources.

4. Create a Ronin Wallet

After installing the Ronin Wallet extension, a prompt will show up, click on Get Started to start setting up your wallet.

Again, just follow the instructions and remember to keep your seed phrase in a safe and secure place!

Once you’ve successfully setup a Ronin wallet, you’re now ready to actually register for an Axie Infinity account!

5. Register for an Axie Infinity account

You’re almost there! It’s time to finally create an Axie Infinity account linked to your Ronin wallet.

To create an Axie Infinity account, go to the Marketplace page and click on the Login button on the top right.

The website will then ask you how you want to login. Choose “Login with Ronin wallet.”

Another prompt for your wallet extensions will show up, just confirm them.

Finally, type in your name for your Axie Infinity account.

6. Setup your email and password

Finally, let’s add your email address to your Axie Infinity account to complete the setup.

Just go to the “Account” tab and click on “Setup email & password.”

Once done, you’ll need to copy and paste the verification code sent to your email.

How to buy Axies from the Marketplace

To start playing, you’ll need to buy a starter team of 3 Axies on the Marketplace.

Axies can be purchased with ETH tokens on your Ronin wallet.

To add ETH tokens to your Ronin wallet, you first need to buy ETH from crypto exchanges such as Binance.

You can easily create a Binance account using this link to buy tokens from the exchange.

Withdraw the ETH to your MetaMask wallet, then transfer it to your Ronin wallet using the Ronin Bridge.

Once you’ve successfully added ETH tokens to your Ronin wallet, you can now buy Axies from the Axie Marketplace.
