Farmers and gardeners who care for their plants must always watch out for the weather.
The same is true for farming mode in Plant vs. Undead.
Seasons and Weather Events are factors that affect your plants—they can either increase the productivity, or make them almost useless!
In this guide, we’ll teach you how these mechanics work and how you can use them to your advantage.
What are Seasons in PvU?
There are a total of four (4) Seasons in the game:
Each Season will last for 7 days, which means a complete cycle of all four seasons will take 28 days. A new season starts every Sunday at 00:00 UTC (8:00 AM Philippine time).
In each Season, there is also a set of Weather Events.
What are Weather Events in PvU?
There are a total of 25 unique Weather Events in the game.
These events occur for one day and can either increase or decrease the Light Energy (LE) productivity of your plants, depending on their elements.
Weather events may occur across different seasons and each have slightly different effects depending on the current season.
The complete list of effects are shown in the tables below.
The same weather event will not repeat for at least two days.

Here is the complete list of all weather events per season and their corresponding effects for each plant element.

How do Seasons and Weather Events affect your plants?
Depending on the current season and the element of your plants, a weather event can:
- Increase your plant’s LE rate,
- Decrease your plant’s LE rate,
- Or have no effect at all
If the weather event does affect your plant’s productivity, it will take effect only within the 24 hours that the weather event is active.
For example, let’s say you have a plant that produces an average of 100 LE per hour.
If a weather event gives it a boost of 30%, then the plant will produce 130 LE per hour for 24 hours while the weather event is in effect.
After 24 hours, the rate will go back to its normal rate of 100 LE per hour.
