Here’s a complete list of all rebalanced cards and parts for Axie Infinity Season 20. Which ones are nerfed and buffed?
Axie Infinity Season 20 Balancing Period
In a recent announcement by Axie Infinity devs, a balance patch will go live on January 17, 2022.
This balance update is quite different from previous ones. Usually, these patches are launched together with the start of a season.
But this latest update however is released weeks before Season 20 starts.

This allows more time for play-testing and more room to introduce hot-fixes.
Season 20 is expected to launch in February 2022, and until then, the devs may introduce additional minor updates.
This ensures that by the time Season 20 is launched, all cards and builds will be properly balanced.

Changes to Game Mechanics
Skill Damage Computation
Another update is the computation on Skill value.
It now uses percentage instead of base damage addition.
Bonus Damage Calculation |
---|
Card Damage x (Skill x 0.55 – 12.25) / 100 |
Max Crit Damage (PVE)
The maximum Crit damage is now capped at 200% in Adventure Mode.
This prevents high Morale builds to be too overpowered in PVE.
Conclusion
Hopefully, these new changes introduced to the game will make Season 20 more enjoyable and fair for everyone.
