How to Get Skins, Hats and Pets in Among Us
Skins, hats and pets in Among Us can be obtained through the free cosmetics included in the game, in-app purchases, or exclusive holiday bundles.
1. Get free skins and hats included in the game
Depending on which platform you’re playing Among Us on, several cosmetic items are available to use for free.
On the mobile version, players automatically own a limited amount of hats for free.
The fastest way to unlock all hats and skins in Among Us is by playing on the PC version of the game.
Why? Because on the PC version, all hats and skins are already available for free!
Pets, however, still need to be purchased on both platforms.
2. Buy Skins and Pets via In-App Purchases
When playing on mobile platforms, you may purchase individual skins, hats and pets through in-app purchases.
Each individual cosmetic item usually costs between $0.99 to $2.99.
To purchase skins and pets in the game, just open up the Customize window in the lobby and click the dollar sign ($) icon.
Just note that purchases do not sync across platforms, since the game doesn’t really have an account system in the first place.
